Adult Bible Class: “Faithful Living”
New Topic: Evangelism in a Skeptical World starting on March 10!
Jesus commissions his disciples to “go and make disciples” (Matt 28:19); Peter exhorts, “Always be prepared to answer everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have” (1 Pet 3:15); and Paul laments, “How can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard?” (Rom 10:14). As Christians, we have a commission, exhortation, and passion to evangelize.
We need new methods to communicate the timeless message of the gospel in culturally relevant ways. Field-tested and filled with fresh and creative insights, this topic equips everyday Christians to share the gospel in today’s skeptical world and help as many people as possible hear the good news about Jesus.
Following the 3/3rds methodology, we will:
- Look back – evaluate what has happened since the last meeting, especially our commitments to do or share from the previous session.
- Look up – Look up to God in search of new insights and impressions from Scripture or the Holy Spirit.
- Look forward – make specific plans to put into practice what we have learned and share it with others. This component ensures that we always do and share what we have learned.
This Adult Bible Class, lead by Engage Pastor, T.S. Weaver, will meet weekly on Sunday mornings at 9:00 AM in Room B1. All adults are welcome to join us!
