Core Beliefs
God
There is one God who exists in three persons – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man.
The Bible
The Bible is inspired by God and is inerrant in its original writings. We have a reliable copy and use it as the final authority in faith and life.
Humanity
All of humanity is spiritually lost and without hope apart from God’s special intervention.
Reconciliation
The only solution for our spiritually lost state is to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, whose death and bodily resurrection make a relationship with God possible.
Salvation
This new relationship with God is a free gift, by grace, and it is offered to all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be achieved by good works nor is it given according to race, status, or ability—salvation is through faith alone and by grace alone in Jesus’ death and resurrection.
Second Coming of Christ
Jesus Christ will physically return and judge both the living and the dead to which believers will experience eternal life with God.
How We Grow As Disciples
EQUIP
We are called to worship God in spirit and in truth (John 4.24). Truth matters. For that reason, we are committed to offer world-class (literally) biblical teaching. At Grace you’ll find Adult Bible Classes on Sunday mornings and Bible studies throughout the week. You’ll get instruction on everything from books of the Bible and theology to marriage, parenting, and how to share your faith, all taught in ways that are relevant, practical, and always grounded in God’s Word.
ENGAGE
Every ministry in Grace, whether in AV, children’s or youth, music, hospitality, or any other ministry, has opportunities for you to serve. But we also partner with ministries outside of Grace’s building in order to engage others and be a blessing to our community and world. Every believer has the same mission: to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the nations. All of us are missionaries. All of us are called to tell others about Jesus. At Grace, we’ll challenge you to see your life as mission, to announce the Gospel to those around you, in your family, in your neighborhood, at work, in our city, and around the world.
EXALT
Ultimately, we exist to glorify God in all that we say and do. At Grace we encourage each person to worship God personally through spiritual disciplines such as reading and reflecting on Scripture and prayer. Our weekly worship services offer a place for corporate worship through singing and the preaching of the Word. As the church, we are invited to corporately celebrate both who God is and what He has done as we gather together each week!
To put it simply, we make disciples by equipping people with the Truth so that they can engage the world around them with the result that we come together each week and exalt our God for what He has done! And then the process continues again and again….
