The Engage Conference is Grace Bible Church’s annual, multi-day celebration of God’s work around the world. It's a time for our whole church to be inspired, challenged, and mobilized to take part in God’s global mission.
We believe the local church is God’s primary instrument to reach the nations. That’s why the Engage Conference isn’t just another event—it’s the heart of our church’s mission focus. Throughout the week, we will hear stories from around the globe, meet our global workers face-to-face, and learn how each of us can play a role through praying, giving, and going.
Engage brings the world to our church—and brings our church into God’s global work. It’s the most exciting week of our year, and we invite YOU to be a part of it.

Please register below as soon as possible or by September 12 because there are a limited number of tickets.

God says, “For my house will be called a house of prayer for all nations..” (Isaiah 56:7)
Join us for a complimentary breakfast and visit with engagement workers sharing how God is answering prayer around the world and hear what He is doing right here in Dallas. We will then have a short time of prayer. Our guest speaker will be Peter Fretheim, a global engagement worker serving with SIM in Nigeria.
Peter Fretheim grew up in a privileged life in Greenwich, Connecticut, just outside of New York City. His father was a multimillionaire and, although his family had everything the world has to offer, they did not have Jesus.
He became a believer in the Bible and true Christianity through Young Life at the age of 16, then earned a Business Degree from Pepperdine University in California and started to work in business in the United States. He felt God’s calling and left business for the ministry and attended Dallas Theological Seminary, where he met his wife, Miriam. They both obtained Master’s Degrees in Biblical Studies there.
Miriam grew up at Grace Bible Church and they both worked at GBC with the youth while at DTS.
They were sent to the mission field by GBC in January of 1999 and raised their four children there. Currently their children all live in the US, have graduated from Universities, are working and following Jesus.
Peter and Miriam love Nigeria and Nigerians, and hope to live there for many years to come. Peter says, “I don’t own all of those fancy things I had growing up, but I now have true riches in Jesus.”
All are invited, but space will be limited. Breakfast provided.
You’re invited to dinner in the home of a church member. In this smaller group setting, you will get to know a Grace engagement worker as they share their experiences and ministry work.
More information to come on home groups and Grace engagement workers.
Space will be limited at each home, but attempts will be made to accommodate all who are interested in attending. Dinner is provided by the host home.
