Rachel Taylor Grace Kids Director

Rachel started her work at Grace in 2021, first as a volunteer in children’s ministry and now as Grace Kids Director since August of 2023. She earned her bachelor of science, in interdisciplinary studies from Texas A&M University, her Masters in Education from the University of Texas at Arlington, and her doctorate, from Southern Methodist University. Before working at Grace, Rachel worked as a business consultant, stay-at-home mom, school principal, and teacher. While staying at home with her children, she desired nothing more than for them to come to know the Lord and she prays the same for all of the children she serves at Grace.

Rachel is passionate about children learning from loving and caring teachers and leaders with a solid Bible-based curriculum. Through a combination of play and teaching, Grace Kids fulfills its mission for all kids who enter our doors to hear and learn who Jesus is and how much He loves them. Our goal is to instill the youngest Grace-goers with the tools and knowledge they need to grow as future (or current) believers and to serve and glorify Jesus through word and deed all the days of their lives.

Rachel is married to David, a law professor at SMU, and they have three children (Caroline, Emily, and Joshua).
