Mari Páez Grace Kids Assistant Director of Volunteers and Family Engagement
Mari Páez joined the staff at Grace Bible Church in November 2024 as the Grace Kids Assistant Director of Volunteers and Family Engagement. She and her husband, Daniel Lopez, moved to Dallas from Puerto Rico in 2006 while Daniel pursued his master’s degree at Dallas Theological Seminary. They began attending Grace Bible Church in 2007 and have been part of the church family ever since.
Mari and Daniel have four children—Lucas, David, Sara, and Daniella—and consider Grace to be an extension of their family. Mari was born in Venezuela, spent three years living aboard the missionary ship Doulos with Operation Mobilization, and was raised in Puerto Rico from the age of eight. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Languages from the University of Puerto Rico.
Before joining Grace, Mari worked at American Airlines, served as a stay-at-home mom, participated as a PTA board member, and taught Spanish to students of all ages—from preschool to adults. She is passionate about helping people feel welcomed, valued, and seen. Mari loves God, enjoys the culture of grace at Grace Bible Church, and has a deep appreciation for languages and diverse cultures.
If you get the chance, stop by the Grace Kids check-in area and show her your language skills! 😊 You will make her day!
