Grace Bible Church was
From the very beginning, we have been a church focused on studying the Bible, teaching its truth, and sending missionaries to spread the gospel.
Now 70-plus years later, and still in our original location in the heart of Dallas, we continue to hold fast to the ministry focuses our founders had in mind. With a multi-generational congregation, traditional and contemporary worship services, world-class Bible teaching, and a deep commitment to partnerships with missionaries at home and around the globe, Grace Bible Church continues to fulfill our God-given purpose to glorify Him by making disciples.

Our Purpose
To glorify God by making disciples.
Our Vision
To have everyone at Grace hear the words, “Well done, my good and faithful servant," (Matthew 25:23) when we get to heaven.
Our Mission

To EQUIP with truth.
To ENGAGE in goodness,
and to EXALT our beautiful God.

What We Believe
God
There is one God who exists in three persons - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth and of all things, visible and invisible. We believe that the Father is the sovereign Ruler and Judge over all things Who also loves and cares for all aspects of His creation.

Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is fully God and fully man.
We believe that He accomplished our redemption
through His death on the cross as a substitutionary and atoning sacrifice. We believe that our redemption and salvation are guaranteed to us by His literal physical resurrection from the dead.

The Holy Spirit
We believe the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity—fully God, equal in essence with the Father and the Son. He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and graciously draws people to faith in Christ.
At the moment of salvation, the Spirit permanently indwells every believer, sealing them for the day of redemption.
He empowers believers for godly living, grants spiritual gifts for the building up of the church, guides into truth, comforts in trials, and transforms us into the likeness of Christ.
As we walk in step with the Spirit, we bear His fruit and experience the joy of living for God’s glory.

The Bible
The Bible is inspired by God and is inerrant in its original writings. We have a reliable copy and use it as the final authority in faith and life.
Salvation
All of humanity is spiritually lost and without hope apart from God's special intervention.
The only solution for our spiritually lost state is to be reconciled to God through Jesus Christ, whose death and bodily resurrection make a relationship with God possible.
This new relationship with God is a free gift, by grace, and it is offered to all who put their faith in Jesus Christ. It cannot be achieved by good works nor is it given according to race, status, or ability—salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Jesus Christ alone.

Believer's Baptism
We believe baptism is an ordinance of the church, given by Jesus, for those who have personally trusted in Him for salvation.
It is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing the believer’s union with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. While baptism does not save, it is an important step of obedience for Christians. At Grace, it is practiced by immersion in water.

Church Leadership
The Bible teaches us that Jesus is the leader of the church. Under his leadership, Grace Bible Church recognizes Elders, Deacons, and Staff.
