Christianity in the Roman Empire
Led By Chuck Rhine, Michael Golden, Paul Barth
Join the Nooks and Crannies class for their study on Christianity in the Roman Empire.
It takes a lifetime for the gospel to seep into the “nooks and crannies” of our lives. Our goal is to try and find those areas of our lives where we need to apply the gospel to further enhance our walk with the Lord. Most lessons include trivia (with prizes), a time of prayer, and end with a small group time that we use to discuss application questions. Come meet some new friends and hear the Word taught by four rotating teachers: Danny Lopez, Chuck Rhine, Michael Golden, and Paul Barth.
Breakfast will be served weekly!
Joint Heirs
SUNDAYS 9AM - B5
Romans
Led By Fred Chay
Join the Joint Heirs class in the study of Romans.
Joint Heirs are a group of people who desire to dig deep into the study of the scriptures. Each week we examine through exposition of the Bible what God says and how it applies to “me” today. We seek to answer biblical and theological questions as well as ethical issues that we all must face each day. If you want to grow and mature in your knowledge of God and His word, then this is the class for you.
Sunday Morning 10:30AM Classes
Word Travelers
SUNDAYS 10:30AM - ROOM B1
The Gospel of John
Led By Don King
Join the Word Travelers class in their current study of “The Gospel of John”.
The Word Travelers (just as it sounds) move around throughout the entire Bible studying the books word by word, chapter by chapter. This is an expositional study with ample opportunity for questions from the group. All are welcome to attend.
Don King leads this class and has been teaching Adult Bible Classes at Grace Bible Church for 52 years.
Jeff Sherwood and Rocky Miller invite you to join this group in studying the Foundations of our faith. The Foundations class focuses on the exposition of Scripture using verse-by-verse exegesis of the text. Their history has been to study through books of the Bible, though occasionally we may do a topical series or watch a DVD that pertains to our current study. The teaching style is lecture-based and they usually spend about 45 minutes of class time studying the Scriptures.
Join us on Thursday mornings for an expositional study of varying books of the Bible. We are currently in Hebrews and will review all eight of the General epistles. There is plenty of opportunity for discussion and questions from the group. All are welcome.
We will gather twice a month to explore our faith journey uniquely, dedicating our time to three essential components:
1. Look Back: Reflect on our individual and collective experiences since the last meeting, especially focusing on commitments made in the previous session.
2. Look Up: Seek new insights and impressions from God through Scripture and the Holy Spirit, fostering a deeper connection with our faith.
3. Look Forward: Develop specific plans to apply what we’ve learned and actively share these insights with others. This ensures that our knowledge translates into meaningful actions within our community.
2024 Meeting Dates:
April 7 & 21; May 5 & 19; June 9 & 23; July 7 & 21; August 4 & 18; September 8 & 22; October 6 & 20
